Curriculum
(KENPO KARATE - DYNAMIC FIST LAW)
“Martial Arts”
TRADITIONAL - Students build discipline, focus, and confidence through structured martial arts training. They learn proper punching, blocking, kicking, and movement, while developing respect and self-control. The base system are kata/forms from Karate, Kung Fu, and Kenpo. This phase focuses on forms (katas), which sharpen technique, rhythm, and mental clarity.
“Martial Fighting”
STREET/SELF DEFENSE- This is real-world training. Students learn to defend against punches, grabs, and weapons using Kenpo and Jujitsu-based techniques. Offense is also developed with strikes and kicks from Boxing, Taekwondo, and other arts. The result is practical, effective self-defense skills for real-life situations.
“Martial Sport”
TOURNAMENTS - For students who want to compete, KMA offers experienced guidance. We’ve produced champions and hosted top-level tournaments throughout New England. Sensei John Keefe regularly judges at national events, especially black belt divisions.
